West Wind Dog Training – Training Liability Waiver & Release of Claims

I/We acknowledge that I/We have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the following terms and conditions:

• Voluntary Participation: I/We acknowledge that I/We have voluntarily chosen to participate in dog and/or puppy training activities offered by West Wind Dog Training.
• Vaccination Compliance: I/We affirm that the dog(s) participating in training are current on all vaccinations required under West Wind Dog Training protocols.
• Assumption of Risk: I/We understand that activities involving dogs carry inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, unpredictable behavior, and other hazards. I/We voluntarily participate with full knowledge and acceptance of these risks.
• Dog Behavior Acknowledgment: I/We understand and expressly acknowledge that any dog—regardless of training, handling, or environment—is capable of biting or causing injury.
• Environmental & Property Risks: I/We understand that slips, falls, injuries, or dog escapes may occur on West Wind Dog Training property, off‑site training locations, my/our personal residence, or any other location where training activities occur.
• Full Acceptance of Risk: In order to participate in any training classes, private sessions, or related activities, I/We acknowledge that I/We are fully informed of all risks and voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur.
• Waiver & Release of Claims: I/We hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that I/We, my/our heirs, guardians, or legal representatives may have against West Wind Dog Training, its owners, trainers, employees, or agents for any personal injury, property damage, or harm to myself, my dog, or any children in my care, whether caused directly or indirectly by actions or inactions of myself, my dog, other participants, or third parties, including during any secondary training performed without a trainer present.
• Indemnification: I/We agree to indemnify and hold harmless West Wind Dog Training, its owners, trainers, and employees from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from: my/our actions or inactions,the actions or inactions of children in my/our charge, or the behavior of the dog(s) I/We own or handle, whether occurring on training premises, within my/our home, or in public spaces.
• Responsibility for Damages: I/We accept sole responsibility for any injury or damage caused by myself, my dog, or any children in my care and agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless West Wind Dog Training and its representatives from all resulting claims or expenses.
• Media Release: I/We grant permission for West Wind Dog Training to use photographs and/or video recordings of myself/us or my/our dog(s) for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes without compensation or obligation of any kind.
